Regular Audi Service Cost

The average Audi maintenance cost is between 350 AED and 900 AED every 15,000 KM for minor maintenance services, including oil, filters, washing, and inspection.

The key to extending the life of an Audi is proper routine maintenance. Your owner’s manual details the recommended KM for specific services, such as having a timing belt replaced. For general vehicle maintenance, Audi recommends you have your car serviced once a year or every 15,000 KM.

Some services may need to be performed more often. Below are five common regular maintenance needs for your Audi.

  1. Audi Brakes

You should check your brakes for wear at least once a year – or twice a year if you drive in a city or notice your brakes take longer to stop. Brake pads generally need to be replaced every 50,000 to 90,000 KM.

  1. Audi Oil Change

Most modern Audi vehicles with synthetic oil can go up to 15,000 KM between oil changes. However, if you do a lot of city driving – stopping and starting at stop signs, lights, and in traffic – you may need your oil changed every 10,000 KM.

  1. Audi Tires

Not only is your car going to perform less efficiently with worn-out tires, but it’s also dangerous. Worn tires with little to no tread or low air pressure are a potential safety concern.

  1. Audi Air Filter

Recommend Air filters are regularly replaced every 15.000 KM. A clean air filter helps keep debris from your engine.

  1. Audi Battery

Test your Audi’s battery every three months or 10,000 KM. When batteries wear out – about every two to three years – you will start to notice your car’s interior lights dim.

We are in DME Auto Repairing have certified technicians for your Audi repair and service with the latest diagnostic technology.

Mercedes Service - DME Auto

Are Mercedes Service Expensive to Maintain?

Are Mercedes Service Expensive to maintain?

  • Mercedes service costs – how much are they?
  • Mercedes service plan price examples
  • How much do Mercedes parts cost to replace?

For many, owning a Mercedes is a dream come true, but one thing that it’s impossible to avoid thinking about when considering any premium vehicle is the cost of services and maintenance.

Picture the scene: you’ve just purchased a brand-new Mercedes A-Class, but now you’ve started to think about how much it’s going to cost to keep it on the road and you’re worried. The last thing you want is to keep on paying out premium prices over the next five years (or perhaps longer) to repair your vehicle.

When you purchase a new premium car you’ve already taken the price and the running cost into account. Often the maintenance and service costs are a secondary thought, though the assumption made by many is that keeping your premium car well-maintained will be expensive.

How close is this assumption to reality?

If you’re in the market for a brand new car and you’re considering a Mercedes C-Class, an S-Class or perhaps a top-of-the-range AMG-Line model,  it’s worth having a clear idea of the sort of prices you could expect to pay to ensure that your vehicle is being maintained correctly and that you aren’t presented with any unpleasant surprises when you take your car for a service.

Mercedes service costs – how much does it cost?

Ensuring that your car is regularly serviced is common sense. Though it’s not a legal requirement, it’s recommended that you take your vehicle in for a service every 10,000 – 15,000 KM. This will ensure that your car is roadworthy.

Mercedes, as a brand, offer two service types. Both are full services that can be carried out by any authorised dealership, or other service providers, such as DME Auto Repairing.

A Service

This is the first regular service that your Mercedes will need. You should book this in just before your car has its first birthday or you’ve driven 15,000 KM.

The exact time that an A Service is required will be, conveniently, determined by your Mercedes’ Flexible Service System.

The A Service is the smaller service, so could be compared to a minor service. There are five standard checks and tasks carried out when you take your Mercedes in to the dealership or garage.

  • Synthetic motor oil replacement
  • Oil filter replacement
  • Tyre inflation check and correction
  • Brake component inspection
  • Reset maintenance counter

The cost of the A Service varies by model, but prices start at just under 600 AED if you have a C-Class.

B Service

The B Service is the more comprehensive service and is recommended for vehicles that travel longer distances. So, if you do 40,000 to 50,000 KM or more a year in your Mercedes then you would be recommended to have this service.

Because the service covers more issues and is more extensive than the A Service, it is more expensive.

The B Service should be scheduled when your vehicle is around two years old (so one year after your first A Service), and then arrange to have a B Service every two years after that.

The B Service includes all the items included in the A Service as well as a number of other checks.

  • Function check
  • Warning and indicator lights
  • Interior lights
  • Windscreen wipers/fluid
  • Replace dust filter
  • Replace combination filter
  • Parking brake

Wheels, brakes

  • Condition/thickness of front and rear brake discs
  • Front and rear brake pads for lining thickness
  • Tyres for damage/condition
  • Tyre tread depth
  • Tyre inflation pressure

Vehicle underside

  • Major component leakage
  • Chafe marks, line routing, damaged components
  • Front axle ball joints and rubber boots
  • Mechanical steering components and rubber boots

Engine compartment

  • Major component leakage
  • Chafe marks, line routing, damaged components
  • Check and replenish all fluid levels
  • Engine oil and filter
  • Engine cooling system (antifreeze and corrosion protection)
  • Brake system
  • Power steering
  • Check and correct battery fluid level
  • Active body control
  • Windshield washer system
  • Catch, safety catch and hinges on engine hood
  • Condition of ply V-belt

  • Battery condition
  • Spare tyre inflation pressure

As it is a far more comprehensive check of your vehicle, the B Service costs start at 1200 AED, with prices changing depending upon the model you drive.

How much does a Mercedes cost to maintain long term?

If you own a premium car, such as a Mercedes, for Five years or more, the last thing you want is for escalating repair and service costs to keep on hitting you in the wallet.

If you are planning on running your car for the long term (more than 8-years) then the good news is that the cost of running a Mercedes is cheaper than looking after Audi or BMW premium models.

Ensuring that you maintain your vehicle gives you reassurance that it won’t break down when you need it the most.

The two main reasons why Mercedes cost less to maintain in the long term are reasons to consider purchasing one.

  • Mechanically less complicated – we know that every vehicle has, on average, 30,000 moving parts, however, Mercedes models have less complex functionality than other premium models.
  • Previous research has shown that Mercedes owners might be more willing to live with some of the less safety-related problems instead of getting them fixed in the short term.

All in all, Mercedes service and maintenance costs are high, but compared to rival premium cars they are not so unfavorable.

Car Service and Repair in Dubai

Dubai Car Service Center
There are a lot of Dubai auto center companies available out there in the city. Nowadays, you can check Dubai and UAE and you will be able to find a number of matches on Google. But of course, not everyone has the same kind of work ethic. Not everyone is capable of producing the right work that your car needs. You will need to be picky. Also, you will have to know what to look for in case you turn to a mechanic for help. There are a lot of car owners dealing with substandard work. And the sad thing about this is that you are actually putting yourself in danger when you use your vehicle.
What you want is to be sure that you are in the right hands when you have your car. You want a mechanic that can give you the best service for the best price. Given these requirements, you will have to do a bit of research.

If you have your own car, it is important that you know exactly where to go for your car’s needs. There are a lot of car owners who end up with a lot of problems on their vehicle simply because they don’t know which dubai auto center they should go to. The good news is that you don’t always have to wait to call a tow truck company. You can be proactive when it comes to the maintenance of your car. But what you can do is to be smart whenever you are choosing a company. Here are some things that you have to know in choosing a repair mechanic.

How many years has the company been in business? The very first thing that you will have to ask is how many years have they been operating? If they’ve been in business for the last ten years, then it becomes easy to actually find reviews and other information online about them. Also, it can give you the peace of mind that you are looking for in case you are picky about the mechanic that you want to choose.

Next, you want an auto repair shop that can pay close attention to your car whether you need a major repair or scheduled maintenance. There are a lot of repair companies out there that are usually getting more clients than their actual capacity. Try to see how many mechanics are actively working in the auto center. Also, try to see how many cars are needed to be fixed. This way, you will have a rough idea of whether the work can be finished in a short period of time.
If you read reviews saying that there have been delays, then most likely, the auto center has been overshooting their capacity.

Now, let’s admit that everybody wants to have discounts. However, you should also be careful not to be lured by companies offering the cheapest options. Typically, there will always be a catch. Are they using substandard materials? Or maybe, you will have to deal with work that doesn’t come with a guarantee?

We are in meeting all these criteria with high standard procedures.
